TO DO
Tours
Browse, Plants & Coffee
Let’s start at Moerse Farmstall & Tip of Africa Nursery (opposite the Astron garage) for a browse and buy, before stepping through the back door into the Tip of Africa Nursery, a verdant wonderland tended by local plant whisperer, Etienne.
Then mosey up the main road and pop into CASA for desirable gifts and goodies, or heed the call of coffee and cream scones at Pickled Green .
Discover Something Unexpected
You may then wish to lose yourself in the enchanted labyrinth of Blue House Books , or pop next door to the Overberg Contemporary Art Gallery to sigh over paintings, sculptures and some unexpected art mediums.
Continue Up the Main Road
Then it's back up the road past Pascal's of Napier and Suntouched Inn (make note of which most appeals for a post-browsing lunch!) before climbing the steps to discover the treasures of Napier Antiques .
And if treasures are your thing, stay on the righthand side of the road, and – just before the Church – you’ll spot the irresistible Rewild Gallery .
Once you’re done there (and you haven’t maxed your credit card), stroll across Wilma Stockenström Street to Just Looking – Art & Collectables, home of all things beautiful and desirable.
Time for Lunch
By now, it's probably time for lunch. Bon Appetite!
Photography, Jewellery & Local Flavours
After lunch, while on the church side of the main road, do not miss a visit to Studio 98 for the wonders of Herman van Bon’s fine art photography and Yvonne de Wit’s stylish jewellery.
Then head up the road to the famous, family-friendly Napier Farmstall , the stopover for bikers and holiday-makers in need of the legendary breakfasts, lunches and padkos.
And while you’re there, it makes sense to head next door to peruse Vindigo Wine & Decor , superb wine selection including local and regional wines.
Back Into the Heart of the Dorp
Then it’s across the road and back into the heart of the dorp for a browse through The Habby Shack for gorgeous yarns, fabrics and all things crafty (and even more tasty treats from Napier Tuisnywerheid), followed by a short stroll to the potter’s heaven, Muddylane Ceramics , home to some of the most desirable yet affordable tableware and décor, made by Madeleine Murray.
Sundowners & Dinner
By now it is probably time for sundowners at your lodgings, and then dinner at one of the restaurants open at night, Pascal's or Suntouched Inn .
