Owner Andre De Koker and curator-at-large Alex Hamilton, both working artists themselves, will be exhibiting at OCA along with various contemporary South African artists at revolving themed group exhibitions.

Saturday: 9:00am–1:00pm
JEWELLERY & PHOTOGRAPHY
Studio 98
At Studio98 visitors can explore the intricate jewellery creations of Yvonne de Wit and the contemplative Haiku-inspired photography of Herman van Bon. From time to time, regional guest artist work is also on display.
Crafted by hand using local soil, stones, and metals such as copper, brass, and silver, each piece in Yvonne’s collection is a tribute to the land that nourishes us. She brings soulful craftsmanship and reverence into every handmade creation.
Herman van Bon’s photography is silently emotive, capturing some of life’s amazing moments. With composition being a key component, he believes the most gratifying photos are created inside the camera.
Saturday–Sunday: 10:00am–4:00pm
CERAMICS & WORKING STUDIO
Muddylane
There is a profound magic in seeing the “behind-the-scenes” of a potter’s studio. At Muddy Lane, this is exactly what you expect — half shop, with a vast collection of beautiful contemporary ceramics available for purchase, and half working studio.
Chances are you will find resident ceramicist, Madeleine Murray, elbow deep in clay, as this is her working studio where she plays and creates almost seven days a week.
Muddy Lane is also a regular participant in Creative Napier, the annual art route, and during an October weekend, you will most likely be able to do a workshop with Madeleine, as part of the annual Napier Weekend Workshops.Daily: 9:00am–5:00pm

WILDLIFE CERAMICS & SCULPTURE
Rewild Gallery
This intimate boutique gallery is home to resident artist Nelis Singels, showcasing his distinctive ceramics and wildlife sculptures inspired by the rich South African landscape. A trained ecologist, Nelis blends scientific insight with passion for art, shaping clay into powerful expressions of nature and humanity.
His work channels the textures and spirit of the wild, using earth itself to explore the confluence of art, function and ritual. This gallery participates regularly in the annual Creative Napier Art Route and has been host to other prominent ceramicist.
If you are looking for art with an eclectic style and contemporary interpretations with an old world feel, then this little gallery is a must.
